The Future

"Ok, ok, ok; so what's the point?" The point is that we have lots of room for improvement in sharpness in the future. That Oak Bay Village image and all the others in the 1999 pages that were not so good technically are now razor sharp in their original form. The density and gradation issues referred to on the original site pages are now history. The offer is also repeated here of burning a special image or printing a hard copy from a negative on request and sending it off to a fellow nostalgiste. These new scans make perfectly acceptable 8" x 10" prints! (If the photograph requested should be of an old boyfriend or old girlfriend, be assured of discretion!)

Oh, yeah; the long lost film strip of the photographs of the student body bodies and custodial staff bodies which were made for the yearbook have turned up and been scanned, too.

Oh, yeah^2: images from UVic in 1963 and 1964 have been scanned, too. Since many of us went up the hill after Oak Bay High and the year was still 1963, eventually there will be a section of pages on this site that include frosh, George Wallace, John George Diefenbaker and the office chair Riot Race in the basement of the S.U.B. at UVic.

Ok, now, mosey on back to 1988 and nostalge.
